The drawer sides are Cedar, the bottoms Pine. The Chest sits on turned bun feet. The front bun feet are heavy round bun feet - the rear bun feet are narrower [if the large round feet were on the back as well it wouldn't get close to a wall - such is the diameter of the front bun feet]. The feet like this are original to the piece and we have seen many like this over the years.  It has an outer Cedar construction with a crossbanded one plank top and one plank sides. It has beautiful depth of original colour and retains a conserved original finish. The item has a 3 panel heavy pine back [which is how they were made in this era, generally].\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eOverall the whole unit measures some 132cms (52\") tall\u003cbr\u003eIt measures some  123cms (48 1\/2\") wide\u003cbr\u003eIt measures some 58cms (22 2\/3\") deep\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn conserved original condition\u003cbr\u003eDrawer sides have been renewed - this piece is guaranteed to give a  lifetime of pleasure and service.
