In 1985, he began working with Colin Heaney in his Byron Bay Hot Glass Studio. He then moved to Inglewood in New Zealand where he cemented his name as one of the best glass artists working at that time. In 1990 he returned to Australia and started making art glass in Eumundi (Sunshine Coast, Queensland) with his wife Lesley. I’d say this piece was done in the early 1990’s.
