- Royal Doulton Loving Cups
In the 1930's Royal Doulton produced a range of Limited Edition presentation jugs - expertly modelled by designers such as Charles Noke and Harry Fenton - many of these were issued in very small Limited Editions of 1000 pieces or less. Of course with the passage of time between then and now - very few have survived.
These magnificent examples of Art Pottery were a truly Prestige item and generally were given as a retirement gift - or that to mark a special occasion - comparable to the "gold watch" of the day.
