The bulging cornucopia at their feet symbolises the abundance of possibilities that Peace, Art and Labour may offer. From her elevated position, it is Hope who stands steadfast. Her outstretched arm and anchor at her feet symbolise noble and prophetic wisdom, which was seen to be irrefutably bound with British colonial arrival.
