Shop Pay Installments is powered and serviced by Affirm and is only available in some stores (ours is one!). You can use Shop Pay Installments for orders between the following amounts, depending on your location:
- $50 AUD and $30,000 AUD in Australia
Shop Pay works very similar to AfterPay - When you choose Shop Pay Installments at checkout, you're applying for a loan through Affirm. Affirm might ask you for additional information to review your application. If approved, then Affirm splits your purchase into several smaller payments.
Payments are due either every 2 weeks or monthly, depending on the plans available for you to choose from at checkout. In Australia, you can choose 4 interest-free payments due every 2 weeks, or monthly payments over 6, 12, or 24 months with interest from 0% to 36% p.a.
Depending on your location, the purchase amount, and the plans available, a down payment might be required at the time of checkout. You can also choose to pay off your loan early without any penalties. For interest-bearing loans, you can save on interest fees when you pay off the remaining balance early.
