I had my throat surgery #2 on Monday morning 10th August 2026 (the second in a period of about 8 weeks) and was out of hospital in the early afternoon - I am happy to report that the pathology of the second mass on my larynx is like the first (benign) - but now the 2 weeks of no talking has commenced. This will slow me down a little for a few weeks minimum - as the speech pathologist has recommended 2 weeks of no talking then a gradual easing back into things over the month after that.
I am now in 2 weeks forced silence and am unable to answer the phone and talk at all - sorry - so all questions will have to be by email for the next few weeks - I'm sorry to not be able to talk to our customers but I really can't risk developing these lumps again and have to go through this surgery a third time (next time is Botox and paralysis of my larynx which is a rarely used treatment). I have been told in no uncertain terms that I have to be conservative with my talking going forward - and this isn't a surgery I want to go through again - so I am listening to the professionals this time and doing the voice exercises recommended to me!
Looking forward - we have made some changes as regards answering our phones (and more likely this will become permanent going forward as my throat condition has to be managed) - to try and take a little pressure off me talking - and to try and avoid more pressure going onto Dad's shoulders (Michael) who is still packing up a storm getting all your purchases out to you safely and securely.
If you can please note these numbers to call us going forward
Primary Contact
Mobile (Reception) 0439 714105
Secondary Contact
Mobile (Robert) 0417 714105
Home 07 46154537
Please use this Home number as a very last point of contact as Robert can't answer this for some weeks (and going forward I have to limit voice use) and it presents challenges for Michael to answer when packing in the warehouse
