Walter Moorcroft (1945 - 1986)

Walter Moorcroft (son of William), commenced work at the W Moorcroft Ltd factory on 30th September 1935, and developed an in depth knowledge of the family business. After serving in WWII (notably in British Intelligence), Walter took over as managing director, works manager, personel manager and art director at W Moorcroft Ltd on 1st October 1945 (William having taken ill). 

Walter Moorcroft continued at W Moorcroft Ltd until 1986 (and as a consultant thereafter).
